Article Research

For my article i am doing a biography about a dj however i am going to ask fans questions about the artist David guetta.

Questions i am going to ask:

1.How long have you liked david guetta for?
2.When did you first start listening to him?
3.What is your favourite callaboration he has done?
4.What is it that makes you like his music?
5.What is your favourite song?
6.What was your favourite performance from David guetta?
7.Would you see him perform again?
8.What is your favourite album?

Planning production

My front cover will be a medium close up of a female conveying a certain attitude to reflect on the genre. The mise en scene will be associated with something from the dance music genre. The picture will be from a photoshoot and not a live gig. I will dress her in the dj style to go with the genre.

The images I will need for my contents page are a medium close up of a pair of wellies, a picture of creamfield tickets, a pair of headphones and a disco ball to connote to the main article about David Guetta.

For my double page spread my article is going to be a biography on the DJ David Guetta, i am going to do research into his life and career. The picture I am going to use is going to be associated to David Guetta.

Initial ideas

My magazine will be aimed towards dance music lovers. I will mainly focus on aged 16-30 of both genders as this genre of music applys to girls and boys.

Codes and conventions of a magazine front cover

Introduction

I am a year 12 student and have chose media as one of my A-levels.My teacher has given me a brief of what the coursework will consist of.The first task i have been given is the preliminary task which consists of planning and producing a school magazine.The main task is to create a front page,contents and double page spread of a new music magazine.
